Dr. Paul Alberti is a magna cum laude graduate of St. John’s University. He earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine, where he also completed internships in medicine and surgery. Dr. Alberti went on to fulfill his residency at Yale University School of Medicine, finishing in 1988 as chief resident in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery. He has been a clinical instructor in the Department of Surgery/Otolaryngology at the Yale University School of Medicine since 1988. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is board-certified in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery. He is one of the founding members of Ear, Nose & Throat Medical and Surgical Group, LLC.
In addition to his community-based otolaryngology practice, he has special expertise in treating head and neck cancers, surgery of the thyroid and parathyroid glands, and endoscopic sinus surgery. He also has very specialized training in treating ear, nose, and throat–related scuba diving diseases and is a Divers Alert Network registered physician.
